    • ​Complete 20 credits of coursework and scholarly achievement; participate in global citizenship, cultural engagement, and civic engagement

  • Ithaca Oracle Honor Society (Fall 2018 - Present)

    • Honor society that recognizes students whose GPA is in the top 10 percent of their school after their first two semesters; based on five pillars of leadership, scholarship, service, loyalty and character. 

  • Lambda Pi Eta member of the Tau Theta Chapter at Ithaca College (Spring 2019 - Present)

    • The National Communication Association's honor society that represents what Aristotle described in Rhetoric as three ingredients of persuasion: logos (Lambda), meaning logic; pathos (Pi), relating to emotion; and ethos (Eta), defined as character credibility and ethics. Students inducted into Lambda Pi Eta must have completed at least 60 hours of coursework while maintaining a GPA in the top third or higher of their class.

  • Phi Kappa Phi (Fall 2019 - Present)

    • ​Phi Kappa Phi, founded in 1897, is the only national honor society which recognizes and encourages superior scholarship in all disciplines of higher education. The Greek letters Phi Kappa Phi stand for Philosophia Krateito Phonton -- “let the love of learning rule humanity.” To qualify for membership, juniors must be in the upper 7.5 percent of their class.

  • Hempfield High School Communications Technology Hall of Fame (May 2019)

    • Nominated for and inducted into the HHS Comm Tech Hall of Fame, which recognizes alumni who have had a significant impact on the program and in their work following high school graduation

  • Published in Symposium (April 2018)

    • ​Co-authored a paper, "Immigration in Ithaca," that was published in Volume 8 of the Ithaca College Honors Program Undergraduate Journal

  • NCUR Research Acceptance (April 2020 and 2021)

    • Conducted research on the portrayal of perpetrators of mass shooting in the media, which has been accepted twice to the ​annual NCUR conference

  • James J. Whalen Academic Symposium Oral Presentation Award Winner (April 2021)

    • Received the James J. Whalen Academic Symposium award at the 24th annual research symposium at Ithaca College for my oral presentation entitled: "Mass Shootings in the Media: Framing of Perpetrators." This project analyzed 113 mass shooting incidents - where 3 or more people, excluding the perpetrator, were killed - in relation to various frames such as drug use, a perpetrator's race, and the presence of mental illness.​

  • Nominee for the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the NATAS Student Emmy Awards (May 2016-17)

    • ​Nominated in the categories of Public Service Announcement, Light and Serious General News, and Sports

  • Device Advice Group Facilitator — Ithaca, NY (Fall 2017 – May 2021)

    • Coordinate with five local residential living facilities and a group of four to eight students to provide free technical assistance for senior citizen residents

  • Young Life Leader — Tompkins County, NY (Spring 2018 – May 2021)

    • Work with high school students to provide mentorship and provide positive role models in their lives; plan weekly Bible studies and bi-weekly large-group gatherings

  • AFSP Central NY Communications Volunteer — Remote (July 2020 – Oct 2020)

    • ​Edited promotional videos and a recap montage for the 2020 virtual Out of the Darkness walks

  • Chair of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship — Ithaca, NY (Fall 2019 – Spring 2020)

    • ​Maintain a weekly email update, coordinate retreats, plan events, and work with a council of seven other students to facilitate a welcoming atmosphere in a student-run fellowship on campus

  • Summer Camp Staff at Gretna Glen Camp and Retreat Center -- Lebanon, PA (Summer 2017 – Summer 2019)

    • Christian day camp and overnight counselor for children ages four to 18; facilitate team building activities, lead archery and fishing, belay on the rock climbing wall and high ropes outdoor adventure elements, serve in the kitchen, and work on other projects around camp

    • Held senior staff position as a lead overnight counselor during third summer on staff, which involved providing advice, guidance and mentorship to other staff
